This is a blog about Vans Slip on shoes, written by Arte Bartholomew. For those of you who don’t know Arte, and I’m sure that plenty of you won’t, he suffered a stroke about 4 months ago which left him partially paralysed on his left side. His left arm works at about 50% and is a little weak but he can use it for steadying the keypad and holding the shift key while he types with extraordinary adeptness with his right.

Now, Arte’s writing style was never all that coherent, but now its really a little off whack and he’ll be the first to admit it! So please bear with him. I’m just writing the intros and this about page, but the rest of the articles and posts are all Arte’s.
